The NOW Foods brand supplement uses an extract of boswellia, a tree that grows in India, China and eastern Africa. The plant supports the respiratory, digestive and cardiovascular systems.
The product includes:
- Boswellia - otherwise known as frankincense. The resin is extracted from the bark of this tree, which, after purification, is used to produce an extract that is sold in extract and capsule form. Boswellia has a positive effect on the respiratory system - it has an expectorant effect, supporting bronchial complaints. It protects the epithelium of the intestinal barrier from damage caused by inflammation, and also supports the cardiovascular system by helping to maintain normal blood cholesterol levels.
It is recommended to take one capsule containing 500 mg of the active ingredient daily. The product should be sipped with water.

Not manufactured with yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish or shellfish ingredients. Produced in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens.
Recommended Use: Take 1 softgel 1 to 2 times daily as needed with food.
