Digestion support complex, which contains 650 mg betaine hydrochloride, 25 mg pepsin and 20 mg gentian root.
Product ingredients include:
- Betaine - contributes to the normal functioning of the cardiovascular system, particularly the heart. Normalises levels of homocysteine, a sulphur amino acid. In addition to dietary supplementation, it has found its use in cosmetology. Betaine hydrochloride is used to improve digestion.
- Pepsin - a form of pepsinogen, an enzyme secreted by stomach cells. This enzyme is involved in the digestion of proteins, breaking them down into polypeptide chains. Pepsin is a component of gastric juice.
- Yellow gentian - a plant naturally occurring in the mountains of southern and central Europe and the Caucasus. Due to the bitter substances it contains, it stimulates the secretion of gastric juices, saliva and bile, thus aiding digestive processes.
It is recommended to take one capsule with each meal.
