Those included in the supplement: Lactobacillus acidophilus are lactic acid bacilli that are used in the production of dairy products such as yoghurt and kefir. This probiotic converts lactose into lactic acid during the fermentation process. Lactobacillus like other probiotics has a positive effect on the intestinal microflora.
