NOW Foods Frankincense Oil is a blend of pure grapeseed oil, olibanum resin oil and 20% frankincense oil blend. Boswellia carterii, or frankincense, is native to the Middle East. Frankincense oil is characterised by a number of properties.
The resin, which oozes out in areas of damage when exposed to air and solidifies as amber drops in shades of yellow. The solidified resin is called frankincense. Frankincense is considered to be the oldest perfume. It is one of the favourite oils used for aromatherapy due to its unique fragrance.
