How essential oils are made - basic information
Essential oils are fragrant, oily substances of different colours, with interesting physical and chemical properties. They are obtained from fresh or dried plant parts by methods such as steam distillation, extraction with organic solvents or extrusion. Oils are primarily used in aromatherapy, but appropriately labelled and adapted products are also used in cosmetics. Ingredients: Pure lemon oil (Citrus limon), pure eucalyptus oil (Eucalyptus globulus) & pure lemongrass oil (Cymbopogon flexuosus).
Recommended Use: For aromatherapy use. For all other uses, carefully dilute with a carrier oil such as jojoba, grapeseed, olive, or almond oil prior to use. Please consult an essential oil book or other professional reference source for suggested dilution ratios.
