Digestive enzyme complex containing, inter alia: amylase, protease, bromelain, papain, cellulase, invertase, lipase, lactase, glucoamylase and Bacillus subtilis bacterial cultures.

The product contains, inter alia:

• Amylase - an enzyme produced mainly by the pancreas responsible primarily for the breakdown of carbohydrates.
• Bromelain - otherwise known as bromelain, an enzyme produced by plants in the bromeliad family. It is most commonly extracted from the fruit of the pineapple - pineapple contains a total of about five enzymes that are referred to by this one name. It is involved in the digestion of proteins.
• Papain - an enzyme extracted from papaya that is involved in protein digestion.
• Lipase - an enzyme produced by the pancreas that is involved in fat digestion - it breaks down triglycerides to glycerol and fatty acids.
• Lactase - a digestive enzyme that breaks down lactose to glucose and galactose.

It is recommended to take one capsule with a meal.
