The NOW Foods brand supplement contains natural fish oil concentrate, omega-3 fatty acids: 250 mg EPA and 500 mg DHA per daily serving. Among other things, these ingredients support cardiovascular function and influence normal vision.
Product composition includes:
- Natural fish oil concentrate - supports cardiovascular function, normal vision, and maintenance of brain function.
- Omega-3 acids - are classified as unsaturated fatty acids. The precursor of omega-3 acid is alpha-linolenic acid. Good sources of omega-3 are: sardines, salmon, cod, mackerel, herring, flaxseed oil and walnuts.
- DHA - docosahexaenoic acid included in the group of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids. Sources of DHA include algae and fish.
- EPA - eicosapentaenoic acid included in the group of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids. EPA is the substrate for the production of DHA.
It is recommended to take 1 capsule up to twice a day with meals.
