Supplement by Swanson contains extract of devil's claw. The terms devil's claw and devil's claw are colloquial names for hacorrhizae spread. This creeping plant grows up to 50 cm in height and 1.5 metres in length. It occurs naturally mainly in Southern Africa. The roots of the hacorrhiza plant are used in the production of supplements.
The ingredients include:
- Black claw - contains iridoids, most notably herpagoside, flavonoids, sterols, triterpenes and phenolacids. This plant stimulates the secretion of digestive juices, thereby improving appetite and digestion.
Contraindications for the use of devil's claw are: use of cardiac medications, gastric or duodenal ulcers, diabetes, pregnancy and breastfeeding.
