NOW Foods - Essential Oils is an essential oil extracted from 100% broadleaf lavender. Broad-leaved lavender is otherwise known as spika or Spanish lavender. This shrub grows to about 80 cm and the characteristic blue-purple flowers are found at the end of the spike-shaped branches. Broadleaf lavender mainly flowers in August. It can be grown all year round as long as the temperature does not drop below -10 degrees Celsius. It has decorative as well as medicinal uses.
