It contains an organic, bioavailable form of zinc and BioPerine®, an extract from the fruit of black pepper (Piper nigrum). The main compound found in pepper is piperine, which has been linked to various properties and also contributes to the characteristic pungent taste of this spice. The highest amount of piperine is found in black pepper and the least in coloured pepper.
