The NOW Foods brand supplement is designed to provide the body with CLA ( conjugated linolenic acid). The product has been further enriched with safflower oil, which is a source of acids, antioxidants and vitamins.
The product consists of:
- CLA - ang. conjugated linoleic acid, or conjugated linolenic acid, is a group of at least 28 positional and geometric isomers of linoleic acid. It is found in animal products, e.g. full-fat dairy products such as quark, fatty milk, butter and yoghurt. Sources of CLA are also found in certain species of mushrooms, such as the two-spored mushroom.
- Safflower oil - is a substance containing antioxidants, vitamins and acids - including oleic, palmitic, stearic, linoleic and linolenic acids. It is produced from safflower seeds.
Suggested intake is 3 capsules one hour before meals once or twice daily.
