Jarrow Formulas brand complex contains a unique probiotic blend of 5 billion probiotic bacteria from the bifidus, lactobacillus, pediococcus and lactococcus families to support the digestive and immune systems.

Included in the product are:

• Probiotics - selected cultures of bacteria or yeast that support normal bowel function and a healthy immune system. Those included in the supplement are:
  Bifidus longum - one of 32 bacteria belonging to the genus biflidobacterium. Supports the digestion of lactose and other nutrients, enabling proper absorption in the digestive system.
  Lactobacillus acidophilus - lactic acid bacilli used in the production of dairy products such as yoghurt and kefir. This probiotic converts lactose into lactic acid during the fermentation process.
  Bifidus breve - a naturally occurring bacterium in the large intestine. It produces organic acids and lactic acid, thus influencing the creation of unfavourable conditions for pathogen growth.

It is recommended to take one capsule of the product four times a day - best taken on an empty stomach, with water or juice.
