Conjac is still a little-recognised plant in Poland. It originates from China, where it has been used in medicine, cosmetics and cooking for many years. Konjac is otherwise known as the oddball or dead flower. The name oddball is related to astonishment over its appearance and the way it grows by botanists.
The root contains ingredients such as protein, carbohydrates, fibre, iron, phosphorus, copper, zinc and vitamins A, E, D, B1, B6, B12, C and folic acid. Glucomannan is extracted from the root. This is a type of water-soluble dietary fibre. And exactly such a fibre is contained in the dietary supplement Zein Pharma - Glucomannan.
