Ubichinol is the active form of coenzyme Q10. Naturally formed through the fermentation process. It is several times more absorbed by the body than coenzyme Q10 and is more easily absorbed in the digestive tract. Ubiquinol is the active and non-oxidised form of coenzyme Q10. Ubiquinol is also one of the most powerful fat-soluble antioxidants. There are two forms of coenzyme Q10, in addition to ubiquinol there is ubiquinone. Ubiquinone, in turn, is the oxidised form.
