NOW Foods' gluten-free, soy-free and GMO-free complex is a combination of glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM, potassium and sodium. It is recommended to take four capsules of the supplement per day - can be combined with meals.
The ingredients in this product include:
- Potassium - essential for transmitting electrical impulses from cell to cell - action potential and is responsible for maintaining normal electrical tension on cell membranes - resting potential. In addition, it helps to maintain muscle tone and normal blood pressure, and is also involved in the synthesis of amino acids.
- Chondroitin - the natural building block of joint cartilage. A substance that is responsible for eliminating friction. It is often used together with glucosamine. Chondroitin is most often used by athletes, especially runners and weightlifters.
- MSM - is a natural sulphur compound - sulphur is found in the human body at 0.2 mg per kilogram of body weight. It is also found in amino acids, including methionine or cysteine.
